Stone Tech Services is based out of Huntington Beach, CA, and we service most of Orange County.
I'm the owner, Chris Stone, and I've been in the I.T. Industry for fifteen years.
I want to make Stone Tech Services different than any other computer services company. I believe in teaching people how to repair their own computers, maintain their own networks and work on their own websites. I want my customers to become more self sufficient so they DON'T have to call me everytime. I'm happy to show people what I know, instead of increasing their dependency on services like this.
In fact, I teach a six week computer course at the Huntington Beach Adult School called "Fix Your Own Computer". In this class you'll learn how to fix and maintain your own computers, and computer networks. The class is presented in plain english, no high tech jargon, and covers a wide variety of topics. Rates
Our rates are $50 an hour for most computer repair and networking jobs.
To help you figure out how much a typical job might cost, multiply the rate by times below:
- Speed up a slow computer: 1 to 2 hours
- Virus / Spyware removal: 1 to 2 hours
- Reinstall Windows, restore data: 3 to 4 hours
- Setup basic home or small office network: 2 to 6 hours depending on the number of devices
For web design, maintenance, programming and SEO work, I can build a quote based on the work you're looking for. Sites can vary a lot from one to the next. Some of the factors that can influence size of our quote would be the amount of custom graphics and logos, the need for programming / database (such as user logins, customer database, etc), and the size of the site itself (number of pages).
